Villa Cortona

an oasis of relaxation in Tuscany’s countryside

Modernity and discreet luxury

This beautiful complex is located in the Tuscan countryside surrounding Cortona, famous for hosting the Hermitage in which San Francesco lived for many years of his life. Every space of this villa is the result of interior design choices born from the collaboration between Caputistudio and Mobilnovo, which, together, have carefully selected and combined the furnishings of the most prestigious Italian design brands both indoor and outdoor.

Refined environments

This wonderful villa, consisting of three units (main building, depandance and spa), behind the apparent simplicity hides a typical Tuscan warmth. The architecture of the structure, from the outside looks warm and traditional but hides an elegant and modern soul.

The main complex consists of a very large living area, formed by an entrance furnished with two GranTorino armchairs by Poltrona Frau, a round table Manta by Rimadesio and a large and beige Resia carpet by Gallotti&Radice.

In the living room, the undisputed protagonist is the Kennedee sofa by Poltrona Frau, 4.20 metres long. The dining room features a large Manta table by Rimadesio, surrounded by 10 Ginger Ale armchairs by Poltrona Frau. The main building also consists of five en-suite rooms for guests. The master suite covers a large area of the first floor and consists of an office area, a canopy bed, a large bookcase and a Poliform walk-in closet. The scent of leather and the elegance of all Poltrona Frau products is perceptible at first glance. The master bedroom overlooks a loggia, entirely furnished with Paola Lenti products such as Ami armchairs, Orbitry daybeds and Table Cafè tables. The depandance is furnished in the same style as the main building.

All interior areas are illuminated by DeltaLight wall spotlights, Henge’s Light Ring suspensions are located in most rooms, Oblique bedside lamps by Flos and a large Crown Plana Mega chandelier by Nemo Light overlooks the dining table.

The pool area is the real relaxation area (but is also adaptable for fun and entertainment) of the villa. Twelve Cove sunbeds by Paola Lenti, topped by four Emu Shade umbrellas, surround the two large pools in brushed Guatemala green marble.

The other outdoor living areas, dining and barbecue, are all fully furnished with Paola Lenti products. The joining elements are the finishes and materials, fabrics with bright colors, lava table tops with glass decorations. The decoration of the Sciara table tops is handmade and makes every table a unique piece of furniture. Irregularity is the distinguishing feature of this process and this is what makes every single product special.
