Emblem of Poltrona Frau, officially called "model 904", since 1984 it has been known as Vanity Fair, and is the absolute archetype of the modern armchair. The rounded shape, the long row of leather nails that finish the backrest and armrests, its load-bearing structure in solid seasoned beech, have made it a timeless icon of Italian design. And that's not all: the padding is both in hand-molded vegetable horsehair and in rubberized horsehair and the seat cushion is in goose down. The seat, back and armrests have a spring system obtained with biconical steel springs tied by hand and fixed on jute straps.
