Prati Apartament
On the Rome's rooftops
In the heart of Rome’s elegant “Delle Vittorie” district, a penthouse opens up to the city’s light through an interior design project that blends architectural rigor with a sense of domestic warmth. The spaces, arranged over two levels and enhanced by expansive panoramic terraces, have been conceived as a cohesive narrative, where materials, iconic furnishings, and finishes engage in a measured balance between contemporary style and comfort.
Live the design, live the light
Living Area
The living area welcomes guests with a sophisticated and enveloping atmosphere, where deep tones and refined textures define a space for both representation and conviviality. The focal point is the Dambo by B&B Italia, upholstered in Sambuco fabric with black chrome feet, forming a soft, generous island at the center of the room. Its substantial proportions are visually lightened by the chromatic choice and meticulous detailing, offering elegant and inviting seating. Beside it, the Le Club by Poliform, in Silk leather, introduces a bold and sophisticated accent, while the Ply Wood armchairs by Vitra, finished in cavallino, add a refined material note, creating an engaging tactile contrast. The Soori coffee table by Poliform, in an antique bronze finish, completes the composition with its sculptural presence, reflecting light and interacting with the surrounding surfaces. Further enhancing the space, the Maestro methane fireplace by Palazzetti becomes both an architectural feature and the room’s focal point: a contemporary blade of fire that warms the atmosphere and underscores the penthouse’s exclusive character.
Dining Area
The dining area unfolds in continuity with the living space, maintaining a coherent language while asserting its own distinct identity. The Clay table by Desalto, in a lava stone finish, stands out as a monolithic and tactile element. Its dark, compact surface dialogues with the matte black structure of the Violin chairs by Gubi, upholstered in fabric, creating a harmonious and refined ensemble. At the back, the Alcor sideboard by Maxalto, in brushed light oak with graphite-painted base and handles, introduces a warm, natural note that balances the deeper tones of the space. Lighting is entrusted to iconic pieces: the wall lamp by Serge Mouille, with its unmistakable graphic mark, and the Aplomb pendant by Foscarini, which descends discreetly above the table, enhancing the materiality of the surfaces and creating an intimate, gathered atmosphere.
With the exception of certain areas of the home, such as the bathrooms, the flooring throughout is a warm-toned parquet by Alpa Florence.
Spaces of rest, languages of design
Three bedrooms, three interpretations of comfort: balancing material harmony, evolving functionality, and iconic design.
Master Bedroom: the master bedroom is conceived as a private retreat, where comfort and restraint merge into an essential design language. The Park by Poliform, defined by clean, contemporary lines, is paired with the B-Air mattress by Flou, a guarantee of quality and wellbeing. At the sides, the Bilot nightstands by Porada, crafted in canaletto walnut, introduce a warm and refined note, underscoring the focus on natural materials and artisanal quality. The result is a harmonious setting, designed to foster relaxation and quiet, balancing elegance and functionality.
Single Bedroom 1: this bedroom expresses freshness and versatility, with solutions designed to evolve over time. The Duetto by Flou combines comfort and practicality, while the wardrobe by Lema, finished in latte lacquer, enhances the room’s brightness with a discreet and orderly presence. The Selecta day system, in walnut finish, defines a dedicated space for study and reading, creating a refined contrast between light surfaces and warm wood grain.
Single Bedroom 2: this bedroom is conceived as a dynamic and creative space. The Compas Direction desk by Vitra, in natural oak with Gris Verneer metal base and legs, combines functionality with iconic design, offering a solid work surface with a strong character. Completing the room, the Eames Elephant by Vitra, in black, introduces a playful and recognizable element, personalizing the space with a touch of irony and design flair.
Outdoor contemporaneo
Bathrooms, furnishings and lighting
The bathrooms are designed as scenographic and tactile environments, where cladding and surfaces take center stage.
The Azulej and Puzzle collections by Mutina, together with the Mosaico Micro cladding, define dynamic walls rich in rhythm. The colored resins by Kerakoll contribute to creating visual continuity and chromatic depth. The D’Art by Novello and Eos by Edonè interpret the space through contemporary and functional lines, while the taps by Fantini and Zucchetti introduce high-quality technical detailing. The Soho, Arkos, Bath 14, and Agorà radiators by Tubes integrate as true design elements, engaging in dialogue with the sanitaryware by Ceramica Flaminia in a coherent and elegant composition.
Lighting, a central design feature, has been carefully conceived to enhance volumes, materials, and perspectives, alternating diffused illumination with dramatic accents. The fixtures by Nemo Lighting, Flos, Serge Mouille, Foscarini, Luce & Light, Davide Groppi, DCW Éditions, and Vibia create a sophisticated luminous narrative, capable of accompanying the different moments of the day while emphasizing the project’s contemporary identity.
