Coppedè Apartment
An apartment that harmoniously bridges history and contemporary design
In the heart of Rome’s Coppedè district, one of the city’s most fascinating architectural settings, a bespoke interior design project takes shape — one that blends elegance, material richness, and fine craftsmanship. The intervention is driven by the desire to create refined and functional spaces, able to welcome and inspire, through a carefully curated selection of iconic pieces from Italian and international design. Each room is conceived as a daily stage, where every detail — from finishes to upholstery, from volumes to lighting — contributes to an immersive, sophisticated, and harmonious living experience.
Materiality, transparency, chromatic harmony
The living room is dominated by a balance between soft shapes and transparent surfaces. The Camaleonda sofa by B&B Italia becomes the centerpiece of the living area, with its modular and sculptural character. Completing the space is the Manta table by Rimadesio, featuring a matte black glass top and bronze frame—a material dialogue that adds depth and dynamism to the room. In the dining area, the Carl Hansen CH20 Elbow Chairs in oak and black ash with leather seats provide a balance between artisanal tradition and Nordic design.
The kitchen, designed by Euromobil, features Fenix laminate fronts in London gray and a Dekton countertop, complemented by a custom-designed, fully handcrafted boiserie. This space communicates seamlessly with the living area and, when needed, can be separated by sliding panels perfectly integrated into the environment.
The presence of the Graduate bookshelf by Molteni, designed by Jean Nouvel, introduces a play of suspension and visual lightness, defining the contemporary soul of the space. The reading area is completed with two Archibald armchairs by Poltrona Frau upholstered in carob leather.
The sleeping area is distinguished by a warm and sophisticated aesthetic. The Gaudì bed by Flou, in fabric with a coffee-colored frame, paired with black Foglio nightstands, creates a cozy and refined environment, where natural materials and deep colors convey a new form of domestic elegance. Olivieri Gap wardrobes, with lacquered fronts and clean lines, ensure functionality and tailor-made order in the master bedroom, guest bedroom, and children’s room.
Soho radiators by Tubes are installed throughout the apartment. In the bathrooms, the Edoné mirrors with LED lighting and anti-fog system stand out, paired with elegant extra-light glass shower enclosures by Vismara.
Throughout the apartment, light becomes a design element, created by iconic brands such as Flos, Davide Groppi, and Vibia. In the Coppedè apartment, lighting defines volumes and perspectives, enhances textures, and creates soft atmospheres.
An Aesthetic Identity Between Design and History
This apartment in the Coppedè district of Rome becomes a manifesto of an aesthetic that combines architectural rigor, tailor-made attention, and a passion for iconic design. Every piece of furniture, light fixture, and finish reflects a contemporary vision that engages with the theatrical charm of the urban context, shaping an environment that is exclusive, poetic, and functional.
