Discover the B&B Italia and Maxalto space

The historic headquarters of mobilnovo opens a large exhibition space entirely dedicated to B&B Italia and Maxalto, where you will find the most famous products of these two brands, true icons of our times.
B&B Italia and Maxalto, a history of high-end design
The timeless elegance of B&B Italia products has written the history of design with collections that anticipate trends and respond to the evolution of contemporary tastes and living needs.
This vocation for innovative creativity is confirmed by the Maxalto brand, a brand of B&B Italia, founded in 1975 by the famous architects Afra Bianchin and Tobia Scarpa.
Timeless icons
In the exhibition space of Via Anastasio II could not miss the reissues of the most iconic pieces of the brand, including Up 50 armchair, Le Bambole armchair and Camaleonda sofa. The UP 50 armchair in beige/ petrol green striped jersey fabric was created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the UP series designed by Gaetano Pesce back in 1969. The Le Bambole armchair is part of a series originally conceived in 1972 with limited edition fabric for Stella McCartney and marks the first collaboration with a furniture brand for the famous designer. Upholstered in hand-drawn "Fungi Forest" fabric from the Stella McCartney Summer 2022 collection, it is produced according to environmental sustainability criteria. The Camaleonda sofa, re-designed by Mario Bellini in 2020, in the new version retains many of the elements that made it iconic in the 70s.
New icons
The exhibition also gives the right space to the creations that are conquering the contemporary scene. Among these are the Charles sofa by Antonio Citterio, the Febo bed and the Apollo sofa.
With its light and airy shape, the Charles sofa with fabric or leather upholstery develops a concept of the sofa as a welcoming refuge where you can lie down. The project revisits and enriches in its maxi depth the Charles system, long and best seller of B&B Italia.
The Febo bed fits into what was initially presented as a collection of sofas, armchairs and chairs, and is available in six different sizes, with an elegant headboard and the comfort of two back cushions.
The Apollo collection consists of three types of sofa, united by pleasantly curved but rigorous lines, where the corners seem designed to accommodate the body and geometry becomes comfort. The Arbiter sofa is a great novelty, a system of modular seats in which the abundance of material counterbalances the stylistic essentiality of the rigorous, almost archetypal lines, designed to lighten the impact in the domestic context.
