The Clip seating system, designed by Francesco Rota in 2024, redefines the concept of chaise longue, placing essentiality at design’s center. The void, in balance with the solid, becomes the protagonist in a project that combines visual lightness and absolute comfort. The straps woven into a strong inner frame provide solid support, while the elasticity of the materials ensures a unique sitting experience. The tapered shape, enriched by a thin seam along the edge, enhances the lightness of the lines, transforming each element into a sculpture with universal character, which integrates perfectly in any space.
For this project, Desalto makes the most of his mastery in the use of metal and creates a structure made of metal tubes that run along the entire perimeter and give the seats stability and an audacious illusion of suspension. The dynamic overhang and minimalist proportions create a sense of freedom, inviting you to relax. Clip combines modern design and flawless functionality, balancing structural solidity with a contemporary aesthetic that adds character and refinement to any environment.
