On November 18th, in the welcoming and refined setting of Centro Poltrona Frau Roma, an exclusive event took place, born from the collaboration between Mobilnovo, Rubelli, and Poltrona Frau: the presentation of the new Kieffer collection by Rubelli. At the heart of the gathering was a fusion of textile craftsmanship and contemporary design, which transformed the space into a true sensory showcase.

Kieffer: an atelier that promotes a love for textiles and bold experimentation

The Kieffer collection, created under the creative direction of Formafantasma and produced at Rubelli manufactories, is driven by a manifesto of care, respect, and textile experimentation: wool, linen, hemp, cotton, paper, and other natural materials intertwine in understated yet sophisticated textures, enhanced by delicate color variations—from lime to lilac to soft pink—and by a tactile quality that invites contemplation. CEO Andrea Favaretto Rubelli shared the company’s vision: “a textile art capable of blending tradition and innovation, where every fiber tells a story, and where the loom’s imperfection becomes a distinctive element of beauty.

Collaborations that enable extensive customization

The setup at Centro Poltrona Frau Roma was no coincidence: the event also celebrated the synergy between Rubelli and Poltrona Frau. During the evening, several iconic pieces from the Frau catalog—such as the Times Lounge armchair and the Leplì pouf—were presented, upholstered exclusively with fabrics from the Kieffer collection. The same was done for a theater armchair, a clear example of product customization even in the contract sector. This dialogue between sartorial luxury and functionality gave life to unique pieces, where Kieffer’s material character is elegantly expressed on Poltrona Frau’s upholstered furniture. Throughout the event, architects and interior designers had the opportunity to experience the quality of the materials firsthand, immersing themselves in the Kieffer universe. The roman setting, with its cultural heritage and refined eye for beauty, proved to be the ideal stage for such a sophisticated experience.
