Mobilnovo and Flou inaugurate the new Centro Flou Rome with an event to celebrate design

On 28th October 2025, the new Centro Flou Rome Mobilnovo was inaugurated with an evening dedicated to architects and design enthusiasts, in collaboration with the Magistretti Foundation. The event, titled “Telling the Story of Vico Magistretti: spaces, projects and stories from the archive”, featured the participation of Margherita Pellino, head of the Foundation and granddaughter of the renowned architect. This was followed by a convivial cocktail that brought together architects, clients and friends to share ideas, inspiration and a passion for design. Celebrating this new beginning were also the three Messina brothers, sons of the founder of Flou, and the Romano family, at the helm of Mobilnovo, who raised a toast together to the opening of the showroom as a symbol of an increasingly solid partnership.

The collaboration between Flou and Mobilnovo, which began with the opening of the first Flou monobrand showroom in Rome in 2010, has strengthened over the years thanks to a shared vision based on quality, innovation and design culture. A strong bond that led to the desire to expand and transform the Centro Flou Rome into a true hub dedicated to the concept “Designing the art of living”: a place where the art of living takes shape through spaces, materials and atmospheres capable of combining elegance and comfort. Covering over 350 square meters on two levels and featuring ten bright windows overlooking via Anastasio II, the new Centro Flou Rome is the only Flou monobrand showroom in the capital and in the Lazio region. An immersive and welcoming space, designed to offer a complete experience of the collections and become a point of reference for architects and interior designers.

With the concept “Designing the art of living”, the company expands its vision: from the well-being of sleep to total living, creating collections suitable for every space in the home. As Massimiliano Messina, President of Flou SpA, explains: “The expansion of the showroom aligns with Flou’s evolution: from a culture of sleep to a broader furnishing philosophy. Our mission is to create unique products where design, quality, and comfort come together to shape the art of living.”

Alongside the collections dedicated to the living and sleeping areas, there is Natevo, the project that integrates light into furniture, transforming each piece into an independent source of atmosphere and beauty. The showroom, as Angelo Romano, Founder of Mobilnovo, explains, “reaffirms the promise that Mobilnovo has made for 60 years in Rome: to offer spaces of experience and inspiration.
